About Us!

Hey There! Iā€™m Amanda! The baker here at Fallen Tree Farm!

I got started when I had a big life change and became a stay at home mom. Passions I had put to the side while in career mode were now able to be fully explored in my new way of life. I am born, raised, and reside in Scotia-Glenville. Starting up a home bakery happened when family, friends and community encouraged me to do so! I wanted to contribute to the family, farm and homestead. Despite reservations, and a belly full of butterflies, I jumped in and created the Fallen Tree Farm brand.

We have always been a hobby farm, therefore adding the home bakery and farmstand fell into place quite easily. We converted one of our old sheds into a farmstand and the idea took flight. We like to live life slowly and take in the sights. I describe my homemade baked goods as rustic, because i like to keep things simple, no frills. Keep things down to earth, homey and relatable.

We have ourselves a little hobby farm. Raising our personal livestock, growing gardens for produce, and enjoying life outdoors. I grew up riding horses and have a background in agriculture. I simply enjoy the farming lifestyle. If you follow our facebook page, I often share some stories about the shenanigans here on the farm. We raise chickens, bunnies, goats and horses! Yes, we do sell surplus eggs when we have them, but our hens are on seasonal strike at the moment!

I love baking. I love sharing with others. I love making people smile. This little business has given me the opportunity to do all those things! I am just a simple gal, looking to bake wholesome baked goods for you to enjoy.

Thank you for taking a look at Fallen Tree Farm!
